Who we are

The seller is QuoteYourBuild Apps Pty Ltd. The product is BuildQuote (also called QuoteYourBuild). These are the product rules. They are not legal advice and they do not replace a lawyer.

What this app is — and is not

BuildQuote is an estimation aid. You type sizes, set the scale and tap a plan, or ask the AI to draft sizes from a plan. The app does the maths.

• It is not professional surveying or a measure on site.
• It is not engineering, construction, or legal advice.
• It is not a guarantee of quantities, cubic metres, square metres, extras, or price.
• If you use Read plan with AI, the plan pages are sent to our AI provider (xAI) to draft measurements. AI-read measurements are drafts only: they can be wrong, misread or missing, and you must check and correct every figure before the quote is used. Marks you set on a plan, and any AI figures you accept, are yours.

You check before you order or pour

You are responsible for verifying all measurements, plans, site conditions and final orders. A quote or estimate may omit items. Check the list before you order materials or pour.

• Check the drawing, the tape, and the site — including levels, soil, holds, and anything hidden.
• Check extras: pump, excavation, drop edges, step-downs, piers, and anything else this job needs.
• If a figure looks wrong, do not use it. Measure again or ask a qualified person.

If quantities or the quote are wrong

QuoteYourBuild Apps Pty Ltd (the seller) is not liable for loss from incorrect measurements, takeoffs, rates, plan reading, forgotten extras, site conditions, or ordering too much or too little material. That includes extra cost, delay, waste, short supply, and rework.

Some consumer laws (including in Australia) cannot be signed away. Where they apply, our responsibility is limited to running the service again or paying the cost of that.

Your account

Keep your login private. Jobs stay with your company. You are responsible for what your team types, taps on a plan, and uploads.

Law and updates

These terms are under Victorian law. We may update them and ask you to agree again before you create jobs or export a quote.
